The average revenue for these accounts was at least $25m annually. Under Steven’s leadership sales teams consistently exceeded revenue targets.  As marketing Director Steven was the architect of AT&T’s Central Region sales channel distribution plan, salesperson incentive pay plan and market management plan.  Later in the company’s customer service area Steven was Director of Service Operations for Ameritech, responsible for project management and customer education for the 5 states Ameritech served.  The Customer Education telephony curriculum developed under Steven’s leadership was considered the model for the industry.

Steven had a passion for working in the telecommunication industry and was sought by many for his insights on the future of telecommunications technology.  He was often a guest speaker at telecom forums throughout the Midwest. Under Steven’s leadership, within a one year period this unit went from a negative profit contribution level to positive. A major client of LNDS’ motor vehicle unit was retained due directly to Steven’s leadership.  In 2003 CSC purchased LNDS. Steven was not only retained by CSC but was promoted to General Manager, responsible for leading the Springfield Office, which was the second largest office in the CSC family.  Again under Steven’s leadership the Springfield office saw customer satisfaction levels improve, realized gains in productivity in terms of revenues and work pieces per production employee and internal employee satisfaction surveys turned positive.
